l have a darkened spot on my face that is a result from a chemical burn, and for several months now lhave gone to a couple of different dermatologists all of which have suggested long term treatment as the only solution.l tried chemical peels, dermabrasion, hydroquinoneand even v-beam laser treatment all which did very little to help my skin.after all this time l am convinced that the dark spot on my face not going to fade as easily as l thought, so l am looking for any other type of treatment that l can have done once and not have to come back.l once heard about such a treatment to treat tattoos that instantly removed the pigmentation and only required some time of healing. If anybody has any serious suggestions please post them.

I know how u feel because I have one on my right shin & it happened almost 7 years ago it was very deep & was way into the muscle & have not worn shorts ince..it had gotten better but is still discolored & I am so bummed it has been my worse nightmare! I feel bad for u & I hope yours heals faster then mine has & as a rule I am a pretty good healer & I guess for as bad as it was it has healed pretty good because it was so bad but right after it happened I also feel through where a register was thsat my husband took out without telling me as I was removing tile from the floor so needless to say it made it deeper & alot worse. I hope yours heals up fast its like I said I know how u feel especially the fact its on ur face. Good luck & heal up fast!

What is a fast alternative for treating a chemical burn scar

try aromatherapy grade Lavender essential oil. Put 2 or 3 drops of undiluted oil into a tiny amount of light lotion and apply to the area. Aromatherapy had its very beginning about 150 years ago when a French chemist working with lavender oil got a chemical burn and applied lavender with success. but remember that this was an acute burn condition treated immediately, and yet it is still worth a try. good luck
